Here are a couple of pics of my European taillight installation

I thought I was going to be motivated enough to do a complete run-through of the euro tail light conversion. But, I was so anxious to get it done that I didn't take all of the pictures I needed.
Instead, I've just posted some pics, with minor commentary. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions
 The Harness

Here's a look at the European GM harness that you will be adding to your existing wiring behind the rear bumper. The harness contains just the bulbs for the blinkers.

Lens Comparison

On the left, the old lamp. On the right, dual lens beauty

Out with the old

After removing the old lens housing, you'll have the wiring harness exposed.

In with the new

Thread the new harness in right next to it.

The Attachment

Here's a picture of the original harness

Here's the new harness attached

Here is where your new harness will plug-in behind the passenger side wheel well. Just un-plug the old harness, put the new one in, and attach the original to the bottom of the new one. Simple.

All done!

After about 45min, everything is back on and working. You will have to clip a small, white wire under the drivers side footwell to make the orange lamps blink. Not only looks good, but functional too! Now you have all four lamps illuminated, and the smaller orange lamps are your turn signals!
